About Us
Our Youth Are Our Future
Caring for Humanity was founded in 2012 at a time when the economy was still reeling from the 2008 financial crisis. Originally we worked to provide healthcare to those in need through a network of physicians. We began to encounter more and more instances of families devastated by the opioid epidemic, particularly teenagers and young adults. Our vision shifted to designing a holistic program that addresses this epidemic and generates lasting results.
We discovered that 75-90% of those who enter a rehabilitation program relapse. This knowledge spurred us to an intense investigation of the prevailing treatment programs and led us to discoveries detailed in our Research and Development section.
Our belief is the current societal problems all stem from the dramatic changes our society has undergone over the past 50 years. The fracturing of families, the increase in toxicity in our environment, and the immersion of advanced technology in every aspect of our lives has brought on many of the health problems people face today. However, for every problem there is a solution, which is where we are focused.
Our President
Dr. Andria Orlowski is our president. She has been a practicing physician for over twenty years. Her practice spans the spectrum of maladies from generic everyday complaints to the arcane difficult cases that involve patients facing life altering issues. She has developed a network of fellow practitioners and through these associations has brought together a range of expertise that provides the impetus of our projects and research.
She is inquisitive by nature and loves researching the rare patient issues to provide the best results.
